Better management of exclusions in sequences

It would be ideal to have a straightforward and scalable way to exclude contacts from sequences based on list memberships, similar to marketing emails. 

If a contact has bounced globally, is unengaged, etc., they should not be able to enroll in a sequence. Bounces from sales emails are not tracked quite the same as marketing emails. 

Better managment of email send status on sequences would allow for improved email health, deliverability ratings, etc.

Have you tried using workflows to enroll in sequences? This should give you some (although not all) of this flexibility.

We're exploring that as an option internally. With the number of sequences
we are looking at, it might be tricky to scale. If you have any tips or
tricks, that would be great. Thanks!
