Hey team, it would be great if we could make calls directly from the task home page, instead of needing to start a task and be redirected to the contact record.
This would allow us to be situated within the task page and not get directed elsewhere.
The new Leads Tab functionality allows calls to be made from within the space. It still requires a couple of clicks, but it's convenient. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some of these new features make their way into other spaces soon.
This might then resolve your need.
