We often need to reuse text in our knowledge base articles.
The snippet is not for code - the snippet might have text, graphics, links, tables, etc just like regular article content.
The obvious benefit is that if something is changed in the snippet, that change is automatically propagated among all relevant articles. Otherwise, without reusable text, I'd have to manually open articles and update them.
This would be super useful - we are often using the same few lines or same warnings/tips across multiple articles, and being able to make that change in one spot rather than having to change across all articles would be a huge time-saver.
Upvoting on behalf of a customer - they shared that zendesk has such a feature called "content blocks" and could be inserted intot he article.
