Hello, we came across the need for this feature some time ago. It feels such an intuitive way to work - associating deals with the contact of the deal. At the moment we have to do this manually, it really feels hubspot lacks at times of intuitive functionality - please make it happen soon.
Long overdue, as the deals stack up this manual processing is causing aggrivation. There is no need and in this day and age this function should be automated by now.
Yes, please. We need this as we are wasting a lot time manually associating communications with deals, which is not sustainable to scale. Thanks for listening, HubSpot, and please please do something to make this happen!
This would be so amazing! It also would help a lot to not forget about any contacts when updating properties, such as lifecycle stage, etc.... @hubspot is this already on the roadmap? Thank you so much!
There is a way in Zapier to Create Associations. Happy to talk through any questions. There are some limitations with what you can do. Issues such as only identifying 1 associated Company to a Contact. If a contact is associated to more than 1 company, you can only see the primary company ID. I agree with the others, that there should be a built in way either through workflow or setting that allows users to autoamtically associate Contacts/Companies to deals based on other associations. It would greatly increase the power of HubSpot.
The more that data can be seamlessly integrated through workflows and associations, to allow greater ability to associate companies to contacts, I see this is a win-win for HubSpot. We are trying to bring as much data into HubSpot as possible to maximize our ability to market to our contacts however without having the ability to properly associate companies in full capacity to our contact records, we are having to do more "data-entry" vs a seamless integration. This is a barrier as we are spending more time on manual labor of import versus utlizing the system to market to each demographic based on their company associations.
We need this from an ecommerce perspective. Our B2B sales team places orders for clients (and clients place orders themselves) on our ecommerce platform. The deals are pulled into hubspot via integration, but then these deals are not automatically associated with a company, and this cannot be done with a workflow. Come on hubspot 🙂
Huge time saver to have it go both ways especially with shopify integration. I need my sales reps to be able to see the data from the company level, not the contact level. Since contacts and companies are associated, it would be great if the deal automatically pulled in the associated company.
