Automatically add lines to quote based on specific line items
When creating a quote and adding a line item, we'd like HS to automatically add in related products, or a comment line or specific text.
There are many instances where we are having to quote multiple items in order to show a client what optional extras are available, but then these quotes could become very lengthy since the descriptions are long.
My use-case is similar: I want to be able to add comments within the body of the quote - in between products. These don't need to be automatic based on the Products selected. I'd use them to provide context / brief explanation of why that product suits their business requirement.
I agree with this, with the growth of quotes and custom templates this seems like a good step forward to having more dynamic quotes. Hope to see this in future updates!
I'd love to see the ability for a certain quote template to populate with relevant line items. So from a packaging standpoint, if I'm selling a "basic" package, the "basic" quote template populates with all the "basic" line items.
Also chuckling that I just typed "basic" 3x in a sentance 🙃
