Automatically Qualify Leads when new deal is created
It would be great if when a new deal is created, if the associated contact has an open Lead against it, then said Lead should be automatically set to Qualified - it would help clean-up the pipeline.
I've tried creating a workflow to this effect, but the trigger being deal created you cannot use the double association (associated contact of the deal which would have the associated relevant lead).
In an ideal world, sales should only create deals from a lead, but there are scenarios where this isn't necessarily applicable (E.g. renewal deals, which I would not classify as leads).
