It would be so helpful if HubSpot could automatically gate files and uploads.
That way, if our paid search campaigns/organic search efforts bring in contacts we don't currently have, a form would auto-capture them without a massive (and time-intensive) workaround of us 1) creating a form, 2) creating a landing page for the form, 3) creating the thank you page for that landing page/form, 4) creating a CTA to get a contact to that form, and 5) connecting all of that to each file every time something is uploaded.
Currently, HubSpot requires that you create a separate landing page, thank you page, CTA button, image (optional—for landing/thank you pages/social images/blog images), etc. for each piece of content uploaded. Goal=HubSpot just has a button for "Gate this file?" when you're uploading a piece of content. Then, when a lead reaches the CTA, they simply fill out a pop-up form (one possible solution, I'm sure there are many) and the file automatically opens up for them in a new window. (An added benefit to this is better UX for our leads—and less bouncing around for them=happier leads=happier HubSpot customers!)
Anyway, as a lead-gen-based team, that would be nice 🙂
