It is pretty standard for text entry fields to use type-ahead and autofill from previously-entered data, dropdown menus or saved lists. This makes the collection and entry of data into forms much faster and more accurate. Hubspot needs to implement this functionality in order to improve user satisfaction (data entry) and especially the use of data for CRM purposes (harmonizes information).
This functionality is available on my iPhone, Google searches, Chrome and in many form-fill applications online and in apps. Hubspot is behind the times in not having this capability.
It's now 2024 and Hubspot forms are still awful.....
We are on Enterprise for everything, but what's the use in all this cool data processing and reporting if you can't collect the data in the first place because you are hamstrung by rubbish, non-customizable forms! We need to be able to make it easy for users to enter data, this is an absolute basic requirement.
I submitted this "idea" in December of 2020. It's not really an idea - it's what the most basic data entry applications already do. It's now 2024 and you still can't use type-ahead functionality in most data entry fields on HubSpot. This is getting ridiculous. You have an AI tool to write entire social media posts but don't have auto-fill or type-ahead for data entry.
