If Hubspot was able to calcuate gross margin from margin and amount fields it would make the inputting of deals a much more efficient process for our business. It would also make reporting on these figures much simpler, its a basic requirement of any sales director and should be easy for Hubspot to implement. We currently use 2 custom made free-text properties to facilitate our reporting, it just seems a clunky and time consuming way of doing things.

Ive created a flow that handles this feature request and it works well. The flow is triggered when a deal is created and when a line item is known or updated. It triggers a Custom Code with Operation hub.

It seems that HubSpot support is turning deaf ear to one of the basic CRM functions MARGINs and PERFORMANCE (product, company, salesrep/owner etc). This is Nov.'24 and it is still not resolved as we're trying to make it "work"... very dissapointing even though I've had a couple of support guys do their bestest to figure it out, so far no solution.
