It would be really helpful to auto-populate/auto-fill custom deal properties based on certain criteria.
Ideally these would be auto-filled based on the pipeline that is chosen, or on the answer of another deal property on the same deal form.
I think this is possible with some HubSpot properties, but not custom ones.
Example: we have four sales pipelines and when we create a deal in any of these, our custom deal property of 'area' is a required field. There is a dropdown list of different areas within that field, but only one/some apply to each pipeline. Therefore if you are creating a deal in pipeline 1, the 'area' property should default to option A.
Alternatively, if there are multiple options for that property that are relevant to that pipeline, then only those options should be selectable, and the others in the list should be greyed out and unavailable to avoid errors.
You have recently introduced conditional logic for deal forms based on the pipeline that's chosen, so something similar but for custom deal properties would be great.
Adding on to HHunt1's idea, it would be great if we could autopopulate deal properties based on company/contact properties. For example, industry is captured on our company level but it is also a required field on our deal level. It would be great if we could autopopulate our deal "industry" property based on our company "industry" property.
