We need our phone numbers to be automatically validated to our country code so it is saved on the customer account without having to manually do this every time.
We have the numbers populating to a Google sheet and they never save correctly as the rep might have forgotten to format/validate the number to the country code.
This HAS to be added to the system. In order for calls to record to customer records, the phone number has to have the country code and the proper number formatting to allow the recording to happen. Currently this is a completely manual process on every single customer record.

You’ll now be able to set validation rules for custom and default phone number properties. If you turn on phone number validation, the property value must match E.164 format. Once you apply the validation rule, userscannotremove phone number formatting when manually editing phone number property values.
Additionally, you will be able to set a default country code for phone number properties that willautomatically be applied to updates to phone numbers via Import. If a value is missing a country code but is valid based on the other requirements, the selected country code is added automatically before the value is saved.
