Auto Associate New Records Created in Workflows to Custom Objects
We have a custom object called Subscriptions, and we auto generate a subscription from a deal workflow during our customer onboarding process. The Subscriptions object is connected to our admin page through the HubSpot API, so the account data is always current. Some times we have to create a new deal for an existing customer, and we can auto generate this deal using a combination of properties and workflows. When I try to use a workflow to create the deal, I don't have the option to associate the new deal to my custom object Subscriptions. This is unlike the default objects where I can easily associate the contacts and company from the existing deal to the new deal. Having this ability helps me trust that when my team revises a deal, the deal is properly associated with the subscription.
