Attaching playbooks to deals and not only contacts
It looks like playbook are only available to tie to a contact, and there is no way to tie a playbook to a deal, while updating contact info and deal info.
An example use case would be to have a form where you map different contacts to their roles in the buying process as described in Hubspot's article here
The first playbook I tried to build out was the process for reps to close out a deal. I immediately realized that you can only link to properties on contact records. Being able to draw on deal records would be huge as that's where the reps spend most of their time!
Andrew from the HubSpot product team here. It is now possible to associate playbooks to any CRM object, as well as use a property from any object (Contact, Company, Deal, or Ticket) in order to store Question & Answer data.
