Hi, I would like to associate marketing emails to Deals as well, please.
We collected some leads from a recent event. I created a campaign, created a Deal record for each lead, and sent a Thank You email to each person.
The marketing email is logged in the Contact record but not in the Deal record.
We plan to send subsequent marketing emails related to these Deals. I don't mind manually linking the marketing emails to the Deal, but would like the ability to do so.
I was trying to also achieve this and came up with this workaround that would like to share in case it helps anyone else:
Installed a third party app that creates notes throgh workflows - the one I installed was this one.
I created three workflows triggered by email interactions—specifically when an email is sent, opened, or replied to by the associated deal contact. Each workflow automatically creates a note in the corresponding deal record to log these interactions. See image of the workflow for ''email sent to contact"
Once the workflows start working, the activity logged by the notes in the deals should look like this:
