We are strong advocates of the Products/Line Items feature in HubSpot and offers great context behind deals.
What we're finding with clients and ourselves alike, is the functionality request to be able to associate Products to Tickets. This is often because someone may raise a ticket that corresponds to products or services bought and it would be great to have the Customer Success team get visibility of this.
Now, we know we can access this via deals, but in some cases we want to restrict the Customer Success team's access to deals as it may be overwhelming if they're adopting HubSpot for the first time.
As we can import data into Products as it's own object, it would be good to be able to associate them with the other standard objects as well.
Would love to be able to associate line items to tickets. As an ingredient company, we frequently send out samples through tickets. We can't see the total number of pounds we send out of each SKU without overcomplicating the "Create Ticket" form.
We sell a hardware & software product. Given this, we need to send out RMA parts sometimes to fix customer problems. It would be awesome if these could be tracked as "Products" on a ticket.
The Products on a per ticket basis could also be added automatically to the deal, but it allows the service rep to know exactly what was happening in the ticket event.
This would be huge! The ability to copy "line items" from a deal to an onboarding ticket and even a custom object (ex: Shipments) would allow our sales, customer experience and shipping/production teams to coordinate seamlessly!
Seconding this idea - would perfectly solve our idea to track all ongoing Contracts via HubSpot Custom Object - could easily add line items for each billable part of the contract and calculate out the term from there.
I work for a HubSpot Diamond Partner. We have developed an app for the marketplace that aims to solve the issue of displaying associated line items. Currently, line items associated with deals remain hidden in other relevant objects. This app bridges the gap by introducing CRM cards that unveil line item lists within associated objects.
We are seeking beta testers who can try our app at no cost, provide valuable feedback, and assist us in enhancing the overall usability of the product.
