I have a few instances where I need to be able to assign tasks to people who have conducted activities in Hubspot.
For example:
A Hubspot user calls a contact and doesn't update the call type
A Hubspot user creates a meeting and doesn't update the meeting type or meeting outcome
In these instances I can create workflows to enroll those calls or meetings into and I can create tasks for someone to update the meeting or call types, but I cannot assign the task to update these to the correct person if they're not the contact owner, or if it's not always the same person doing it.
Having another option on the task creation would solve this.
This would be a fantastic addition. I have an additional use case: Notify the meeting owner of an upcoming meeting with a task to help them prepare.
We have a workflow that assigns a task to the contact owner, assuming that most of the time, the meeting booked will be with the contact owner. That isn't always the case though.
Adding some related tickets. Maybe we can all help build up some interest around this idea to get it prioritized.
