Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I'm a Program Manager on our CXM Team. A feature for an approval process for social posts is currently in development, and will be available for Marketing Enterprise customers. We should have more updates about any release dates soon, so keep an eye out. Thanks!
My name is Jacqui and I am the product manager of social. I wanted to reach out regarding the update to this idea being marked as "being review." Thank you to everyone who has upvoted this idea, shared your use cases, and added your thoughts and opinions over the past several years. We are currently implenting some technical changes that will allow for this feature idea to come to life in the future.
The ideas forum is one of many channels through which we receive feedback at HubSpot in conjunction with a number of other sources, including user testing, and in app-feedback. As you can imagine, the amount of feedback we get across all feedback channels is massive, so while ideas are very critical, they are a piece of the data that we consider when prioritizing new features.
Please know that we are here and are listening in the ideas forum, and most importantly we would like to say thank you for your feedback and patience with this feature.
there's not a workflow approval process .. in other words, someone can have the permission to craft content and load it up and even propose a publishing date (authoring) .. but another person(s) would be Editors .. users who could comment on the post, kick it back with feedback, or just rubber stamp the publication. I've seen this in other platforms like Sprinklr or Sprout and no doubt in other dedicated social media platforms.
This would make it easier for a company to review content before it accidentally slips out the door and manage the effectiveness/communication within the teams involved.
Very bizarre that you can comment on a newsletter and on a blog post via Hubspot but still not on a social post. Is there another update where this is on the roadmap?
Really hoping this is rolling out soon now that they are adding approval capabilities to other tools like emails and blogs. We would love to eliminate our social scheduling tool outside of HubSpot to bring it under the same umbrella, but I do think it needs this and better reporting on social analytics before we would make the switch.
Yes! We currently use Sprout Social and this feature is the best. We are switching to HubSpot for other reasons and I'm disappointed this is not a feature. For having a system that uses workflows, it would make sense to have an approval process for all areas.
Just adding to the dogpile --would really love the ability to be notified of a pending social media draft, make edits, and then push to schedule the post.
What a great idea! We use a different system to publish social media posts, but I used to use HubSpot and this would have been a great feature to have. (Maybe we'd even go back to using it, if this was available).
We transitioned to Hubspot and stepped off Falcon for managing social, email and CRM in one platform. The lack of approval capability and tagging within Hubspot makes this much harder and is a real blocker when it comes to workflows.
