there's not a workflow approval process .. in other words, someone can have the permission to craft content and load it up and even propose a publishing date (authoring) .. but another person(s) would be Editors .. users who could comment on the post, kick it back with feedback, or just rubber stamp the publication. I've seen this in other platforms like Sprinklr or Sprout and no doubt in other dedicated social media platforms.
This would make it easier for a company to review content before it accidentally slips out the door and manage the effectiveness/communication within the teams involved.
Very bizarre that you can comment on a newsletter and on a blog post via Hubspot but still not on a social post. Is there another update where this is on the roadmap?
Really hoping this is rolling out soon now that they are adding approval capabilities to other tools like emails and blogs. We would love to eliminate our social scheduling tool outside of HubSpot to bring it under the same umbrella, but I do think it needs this and better reporting on social analytics before we would make the switch.
Yes! We currently use Sprout Social and this feature is the best. We are switching to HubSpot for other reasons and I'm disappointed this is not a feature. For having a system that uses workflows, it would make sense to have an approval process for all areas.
Just adding to the dogpile --would really love the ability to be notified of a pending social media draft, make edits, and then push to schedule the post.
What a great idea! We use a different system to publish social media posts, but I used to use HubSpot and this would have been a great feature to have. (Maybe we'd even go back to using it, if this was available).
We transitioned to Hubspot and stepped off Falcon for managing social, email and CRM in one platform. The lack of approval capability and tagging within Hubspot makes this much harder and is a real blocker when it comes to workflows.
