My team is switching to Hubspot and was suprised to find we have approvals for Landing pages and blogs but not social when social is far more important in today's landscape.
@Leeyman Any updates since this went "In Planning"?
Hi, I saw that the above request is in the planning. Can you also outline an expectation of date/period of launching the Beta version of the approval process in social media? In any case, our team can't wait!
We too could use this functionality. We have a stronger use-case for social media approvals than we do for some of the other approval flows already available in HubSpot.
Can't believe this very basic feature was suggested in 2018 and it's still not implemented. 7 years is a lifetime. Have Hubspot given up on Social or is there any will at all to get this working as it should?
I'm more interested in the fact that it was changed to "in planning" late in 2023. 🤔 Would be cool to get some info on how that's going. Maybe it's ready for a beta?
Hey there - I recently had a conversation with the product owner and a developer about this addition, and while they (obviously) did not share the exact timeline for development and launch with me, tehy're definitely working on it. Based on that conversation, what I can tell y'all is that it'll ride on similar rails to email / landing page / blog approvals, with some additional customization around the particulars of social media.
Is this a thing they should've launched with the other approvals? Probably. Does HubSpot take their time on some things we all wanted years ago? You bet. Do they abide by the ideal of Crafted Not Cobbled? You know it.
Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I'm a Program Manager on our CXM Team. A feature for an approval process for social posts is currently in development, and will be available for Marketing Enterprise customers. We should have more updates about any release dates soon, so keep an eye out. Thanks!
Thanks Haillie, but what you're hearing from everyone on this thread is they want the Social approvals flow for Professional, not just Enterprise. Thanks.
@hhiggins Thank you so much for this update! While I agree that having it in Pro (for the price of Marketing Pro alone) would be nice, our enterprise customers need it the most.
Yes, this needs to be for the professional level and up. It should not be exclusive to enterprise customers. This is some core functionality that is the basic premise for all social media management. I can understand why you don't include it in the free tier.
