Annual Recurring Revenue in the Forecast Tool (instead of Total Deal Amount)
Concerning the Forecast Tool
We (=(Sales Team + C-Level) would like to be able to extend the selection of the reference values of the "Forecast Deal Amount".
For us the total deal amount is made up of several individual sums
- Annual Recurring Revenue (Licenses) - One Time (Licenses) - Service (and everything else)
As the focus of our business is 90% on ARR licenses, we only want to look at the ARR totals in the Forecast, as our Sales Reps also have get their annual and quarterly targets only for ARR licenses.
100% there should be an option to choose which forecast to look and and how to set it. in SaaS businesses its more common to forecast and write goals based on ARR, not amount, so they should be able to adjust,
+1. Fully agreed - we'd like to point this to a custom ARR value that we've made using a calculated property. Otherwise the functionality for us is unfortunately not useable and we simple use another tool 😥
Completely agree; most SaaS businesses separate one-off revenue from recurring revenue. This makes it challenging to track/forecast purely ARR which is our most important metric. Would be helpful if we could filter out non-recurring revenue streams as part of our forecast, goals, etc
