If you connect a piece of content to a HubSpot campaign :
- it will be unplugged form other campaigns
- it will bring with him all the old stats and connect them to the campaign you just created
Would be great to have the possibility to:
- connect a piece of content to multiple campaigns
- have the possibility to reset stats for that piece of content once plugged to a new campaign
The problem is that now I need to clone landing pages and other pieces of content if I want to measure results for a specific set of items associated with a campaign.
This would be so awesome! It would really change the way my team works to the better! I have noticed many marketers using campaigns for their overall web and ongoing/eternal campaigns aswell and not only for specific dates etc. So for this purpose it would really be super great to be able to gather content from multiple yearly/mini/specific campaigns to an "overall area campaogn" in order to evaluate marketing for a complete area for example!
This would be hugely helpful for us running cyclical campaigns that tie back to one landing page! We do not want to have to clone that landing page whenever we have a new campaign that relates to the content/form on that page.
I absolutely agree that I need to be able to add an email (or any asset) to multiple campaigns. This would also be helpful to weed out data. I am having an issue weeding out internal emails from overall analytics. Marketing sends a fair amount of internal communications for our company, and when looking at the overall analytics they are lumped in there. 10/10 we need this basic feature!
@JennyMueller I see your January update - could you give us an idea of when the updated Campaigns functionality will be available? I am relatively new to HubSpot and this is already a big problem for us (tagging assets in different campaigns) - cloning is not an option.
This would be an excellent addition! We send our newsletter through marketing emails and can have multiple client content in one email resulting in us needing to attach one email to multiple campaigns. @Shay we would need to be able to have overlapping windows of time where the blog post is reporting the same data in Campaign A and Campaign B. Fingers crossed this comes into fruition!!
We really need to allow assets to be used in multiple campaigns.
Here is our use case, we run campaigns simultaneously on multiple levels. Most of our assets are prepared to accommodate a mix of 2 or more campaigns since one set campaign handles regions, another handles client type, and another set handles the ad platform.
For example, we have an asset that is for the North American region, Executive-level Clients, and Bing Ads. We have another that is Asian region, Executive-level Clients, and AdWords Ads.
If we view the North Am Region Campaign - it will only pull the first one's data, the same goes for the others except for the Executive Clients Campaign which will pull both of the asset's info since that is common on both assets.
We would also massively benefit from being able to associate an asset with multiple campaigns at the same time.
Out use case is - we have daily newsletters which are all linked to a campaign for easier top-level reporting etc, but on top of this we are running various house or client ads on our daily newsletters, which we'd also like to associate with a different campaign as often times those would be multi-asset and multi-channel - hope that makes sense? 🙂
Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback regarding the ability to associate assets with multiple campaigns. We understand how important this feature is for your marketing efforts, especially for core marketing assets (e.g., emails, landing pages), as well as for reporting needs like parent-child relationships.

I'm moving this idea to 'idea submitted' because we are in the process of removing 'In Planning' as a status as a part of the status updates in the Ideas Forum. The status changes aim to provide more transparency and clarity around where on the roadmap a feature is currently.
With that said, this feature is still on the roadmap, so we are changing the status to align with the updated statuses for now. Once this goes into development, we'll be sure to update you all here, so keep an eye out here for future updates!
