Allow reports to appear on more than one dashboard
Is there a good reason why reports can only appear on one dashboard?
We'd love to see the ability to share a report across multiple dashboards so that we can create and manage a single report that many users can use on their own dashboards; at the moment we just keep adding more and more reports ...
Hi All - the ability to have one report live on multiple dashboards is now live!
To add one report to multiple dashboards from:
A report on a dashboard:
Navigate to the dashboard that holds the report you would like to work with
Click on the three vertical dots in the right-hand corner of the report
Select "Add to dashboard"
Choose the dashboard you would like to hold the report.
A report on the reports list page
Locate the report you would like to work with
Click on the Actions dropdown
Select "Add to dashboard"
Choose the dashboard you would like to hold the report.
For reports living on multiple dashboards, you will have the option to publish any edits to all dashboards that hold the report or isolate the edit on the report to the dashboard you are on.
To publish the edits to all dashboards holding the report, select "Update existing report".
To isolate the edit on the report to the dashboard you are on, select " Save as new report". This option will clone the report for you and isolate the edits.
Please note that there is no limit to the number of dashboards a report can live on.
Please add this feature, seems simple, would help everyone stay organized and looking at the same data. Applying changes to keep multiple reports in sync gets tricky.
Totally agreed this needs to be made. Came up today with a client where two different teams need to see the report.
If the bottleneck to getting this made is about your pricing in terms of how many reports can be created, just lower the available report limit or be okay with people putting the same report in multiple places. It creates a lot of report hygeine headaches to have cloned reports and maintain the same data across them.

Hi team, sharing across a feedback from my customer following the rollout of this feature.
"I understand the requirement to have the same report on two different dashboards, but I do not think that should have replaced the ability to clone a dashboard and all the reports so you can then easily change the filters.
I understand you can clone the report - but as mentioned yesterday this is now very time-intensive to clone a dashboard, clone reports, and set it all up again."
Appreciate you reviewing this and improving the product as a whole.
While the new product update is useful at times, this means that users can no longer "cloned" reports in a dashboard in bulk and have them appear as "new reports". The above can be useful when dashboard filters do not work for reports that are built via the "Custom report Builder".
Can we review this update and make it such that users have the option to decide whether to create a new set of reports, or use existing reports, when "cloning dashboards" please? Thank you!
