Allow for multiple customer agents to be created

Currently, only one customer agent can be created. This singular agent is the agent that is assigned across all connected channels. It would be great if we could create multiple different agent profiles. That way, we could further customize the agent for each connected channel.

We need the ability to assign the settings content sources per chat flow instead of across the entire agent (or multiple agents).

I completely agree that the current limitation of having only one Customer Agent per HubSpot account is restrictive. It would be highly beneficial to have multiple customer agents tailored to different audiences and purposes.

 

For instance, having a customer agent specifically for client servicing for an individual product would allow us to provide detailed, personalized responses that are relevant only to our existing customers. This would ensure that our customers get precise answers that build their trust in our support system. On the other hand, having a separate customer agent for non-clients—such as cold leads or people unfamiliar with our offerings—would allow us to respond in a way that focuses on education and nurturing those leads without overwhelming them with client-specific information.

 

Different audiences have distinct needs, and separating customer agents would help us better manage how we engage with them, resulting in more targeted communication, increased efficiency, and ultimately a better experience for everyone. Hope HubSpot takes this need into account soon!

Same here - all customer agent specific details should be on chatflow config level and not 1 size fits all. we need diferent data sources, different languages, different names etc.

This would be great to add multiple agents as we have different product lines and business units we cater to. It will be easier to segment the correct content for each one. In addition, it would be great to have a customer agent to assist for global pages with multi-languages for each region we serve.

Adding support to this idea implementation - their are roles been created and there is no option to use them on different chatbots for diffenrt roles.

 

Please prioritise this

It's not difficult to understand that a business is likely to have varied Customer/Client/Internal needs, especially in Support. Having just one AI Agent available, and not even allowing the content it refers to filtered per chatbot is a basic error. 

Honestly I'm disappointed but hardly surprised. First it was just the one Knowledge Base, then when they finally added multiple KBs as a feature they put it behind a paywall (don't get me started on HubSpot's dreadful pricing structure - let me pay per feature!). 

Sort it out Hubspot, this is poor form.

Please we need to be able to have different agents, one for service oriented to solve customer problems and another one for marketing oriented to generate leads on the website.

Totally True, having multiple agents in different modes and using different Knowledge Bases is completely useful.

As a AI Specialist i need to create multiple Agents for Sales & Support, so Hubspot, please develop the feature.

Totalmente de acordo com os comentário aqui. Acrescento ainda a ideia de dispormos de um agente interno para auxiliar os nossos atendentes a buscarem respostas quando tiverem essa necessidade. Essa função deveria ser disponibilizado pelo Copilot, atuando com uma base de dados que a gente escolhesse, mas no momento não é possível e por isso a alternativa de mais de um agente seria um caminho para isso.

Really hope HubSpot lets us create more than one customer agent soon. Being limited to a single agent just isn’t enough to cover all the different use cases a typical business has. There’s a reason most AI chatbot tools out there allow for multiple chatbots even on their cheapest paid plans. Right now, HubSpot’s limitation of just one agent feels like we’re stuck on the free plan equivalent of these other AI chatbot platforms — even though we're paying hundreds to thousands of dollars each month.

We desperately need this too! We have two products, and we can't segment the KBs. We'd love to create an agent for each linked to the correct KB. We've disconnected the agent from one product entirely because she was confusing articles.

Please enable this! We need to have different sources of information for different user types. They can NOT pull from the same library/knowledgebase.

I totally agree with this idea, in our organisation we would like to use the agent for multiple purposes :

- lead generation (based on our website)

- customer agents assistance (based on our internal knowledge base)

- clients (based on our external knowledge base)

Any updates from the HubSpot team on this? Are there any developments or progress we can expect soon?

 

We offer multiple products across different websites, and we want to ensure customer agents can easily identify which product is being referenced either by organizing separate knowledge bases or by deploying distinct customer agents for each website.
