I'm not sure why this funcitonality was removed, but we need the ability to trigger external email notifications to NON-HubSpot users via workflows.
Use-cases:
1. Notify team inboxes when certain actions or filter criteria warrant a notification 2. Notify non-CRM users within the organization when specific actions or filter criteria require them to be notified 3. Notify partners and 3rd-party vendors when certain filter criteria are met
I'm aware this can be achieved through 3rd party tools like Zapier. We are trying to streamline our tech stack and limit the number of systems with access to our data.
Bumping this as it's been a few years. We continue to have use cases where we need to notify internal group inboxes after certain activities (e.g., meeting booked, form submitted) or filter criteria are met (new client project created, etc.). It's not practical to add group inboxes as users in HubSpot and neither is replicating these groups as teams in HubSpot because not everyone in the org. is a HubSpot user (nor do we want them to be).
