Allow editing of 'Associated Company ID' property in Contacts
When a new contact is imported with an email address on a domain other than the company website, a new company is created and the contacts are mapped to this duplicate company rather than the original company.
Example:
Actual company website: abc.com
Company email: hl@abc.net
Duplicate company: abc.net (hence all the contacts are assigned to abc.net instead of abc.com)
Manually merging the companies one-by-one is one way of de-dulicating but it is time consuming if there are more duplicates t odeal with.
Suggestion.
Allow to edit the 'Associated Company ID' property in Contacts.
This will help in mapping the contacts to the right company IDs by simply importing a csv with just 2 columns, Contact ID and Associated Company ID (the correct company ID).
