Allow dependent properties to persistently show on the sidebar for Help Desk

It would be great if we could show the dependent properties on the sidebar for the Help Desk.

For example:

I have a property for our products and a dependent property for the versions. This works fine on forms, but to view this information on the sidebar, all I can see is the product and not the dependent property for the version after it has been selected. It's useful for our team to see what version of the product they are working on.

What could be useful is the ability to configure each property you want to show on the card with a checkbox to also show any dependent properties that are configured. For example:

Yes, I agree with (and have upvoted) this request. If we can't see the dependent property selections on a record there doesn't seem much point in collecting them. I understand that the dependent property can be set to permanently display but this creates uncessary clutter on the contact record if it isn't used.

The nice thing about dependent properties is you can make them "Required". So you can put them in a New Company form under some form of conditional logic, and the user must fill this field to create the record. When you use Dependent Properties in a Card, this requirement follows suit.

However, when you just permanently show a property in a card, you don't seem to be able to force it to "Required".  Dependent properties are a great way of forcing fields to be required, but the fact that the fields don't show up in the card until you change the dependent property seems a bit (a lot) backward. Suggesting to just display properties permanently actually breaks HubSpot's "required" functionality.

100%!! This functionality has been a priority of mine since my very first day using HubSpot. With all the conditional logic on specific properties, create forms, and cards I am very surprised this functionality hasn't been added yet.

I just created a lot of dependant properties and removed them from view on the card - only to find out the properties don't stay on display once populated, or the only way to view the properties is to refill out the original property. This feature is only really useable for reporting purposes at the moment.

Need this!! The clutter on the left sidebar is getting out of control without this functionality. I came from Salesforce where each individual field (not each card) could have conditional logic applied, and this was sooo much more useful. In the vast majority of my use cases to show additional properties based on another property's value, I just need to show 1 additional detail field, not several that can be lumped into a card. IE "X event happened" = yes, then show "X event verified" for the verification team to fill in. or if "Y Option" is selected, show "Y Detail" (these can't just be conditional field values on a picklist everytime, since sometimes we need different types of info & different field types depending on the option). Or even simple "Other" options on basically any field, needing an "Other - Detail". All of these items need to be referenced outside of the moment they are filled in. For some, the dependent property isn't even filled in by the same person as the primary property. So the dependent property disappearing after it is saved doesn't work for my use cases. This is a very common use case for us, btw.

Commenting to up the engagement because I NEED this functionality.. it's honestly pointless using it unless you can see the dependent fields

Yes, I also want to keep this thread alive as our business would really benefit from this functionality. We need dependent fields to appear only when the parent field is selected / completed.

@Nautilus 100%. Only display filled out dependant fields when the parent field is populated / completed. Our left sidebar is also getting very cluttered.

Yes - we need that as well!
