Allow creation of datetime field from Contact Property area (not just API).

There are many times when a datetime field can be beneficial for use in the contact properties. There are currently a few fields (HubSpot defaults) that contain this data but you cannot create a custom property for this kind of data through the editor screen.

Allowing this would help with building more precise workflows when it comes to email sending or time-sensitive emails like drip campaigns from workflows.

Just cant imagine a product like hubspot can miss out such an important element. There are several reason why timestamp is important. For now we want to pull out report for leads generated from paid Ads between certain hours and there seems to be absolutely no way in doing that.

Had I noticed this earlier, then wouldn't had gone with Marketing Pro. Maybe consider moving-out since there is no timeline given for this 'fix'?

Any news on this one?

Hard to believe this is still not available.

Currently we have to instruct our users to add a formated date/time in a text field in order to be able to sync with external systems. This is error prone and unnecessary.

Please add a timestamp field!!

Thanks, patrick

Found the official knowledge base document that explains this can't be done. Copying it over here in case no one else has posted it yet.

"All of HubSpot's default date properties (e.g., Create date, Last modified date) are datetime properties, while all custom date properties created in HubSpot are date picker properties.

You can only create datetime properties via the HubSpot API."

This is just absurd!

Needing this for custom notifications we're trying to send out and for filtering workflow actions based on time. Would love to see some updates on this feature!

Hi @jeffvincent. Thank you for keeping this issue top of mind for the product team. Have there been any updates in the past year since you posted?

This is one of those things that you just need to fix now. It should have been fixed before beta, but better late than never. Whatever else you are working on, could you stop for like 1 hour or so and just fix this really basic simple thing that should have worked from day ONE? Hello! DateTime value, it's a simple DateTime value, it has a date and a time. Time is really important, our day does not start at 0 and jump to 24. We have hours and minutes and seconds in between. That's when most of life happens. Anyone in there? Are there humans programming this system or have the machines taken over? How is this still something that is waiting to be fixed? You created all of HubL before fixing this! Priorities ...

Folks, this is embarassing. And it costs us valuable time and money. I shouldn't need to take developer time to implement something like this.
