Allow calculated properties to use date functions

bryceanelson

There are a few instances where we are tracking critical price increase and contract renewal options with our deals. Calculated properties are great, but they would be spectacular if we could perform date functions (like edate() in excel) using existing properties.

For example, let's say our contracts automatically renew every 12 months. I would like a custom calculated property be able to automatically determine the next renewal date is and then use a workflow to alert the pertinent individuals.

Deal.LastRenewal = 1/1/2022

Deal.RenewalTerm = 12

It would be great if Hubspot could just have a calculated property that adds those two together to return a Deal.NextRenewal date.

Yes.  Essentail.  Similarly we offer a warranty that lasts for 1 year from their closing date.  I would love to be able to set the warranty expiration date to be the close date + 1 year.  Right now that is not possible.

I have a SaaS client offering Subscriptions, and it would be valuable from a marketing perspective to be able to communicate with the subscriber based upon their subscription date or subscription expiry date example:

Expiry Date == Today + 90

This is great for reporting, forecasting and managing future workloads. If we are able to predict when certain deadlines will fall we can ensure that teams and resources and prepared. Incredible potential with tickets and dashboards.
