Allow Personalization Tokens to be Used as URLS in CTAs
It looks like adding a personalization token to a CTA URL is not currently possible in HubSpot, as the token will become URL-encoded when the CTA is created in the CTA tool, instead of populating with a contact's information (unlike a regular link that's created directly in the email editor).
This is an absolute must. How can a market leading system that combines a CRM and ESP not include personalisation in a CTA?! It's simply ludicrous not to deliver this natively, and for it to have been a known issue for nearly 7 years with hundreds of upvotes against the request as well, is mind blowing.
Commenting here as it seems this has been a feature request for 7 or 8 years now. We have unique URLs for each partner we work with and this seems like adding personalization capabilities to a button shouldn't be a difficult feature to add. Now our emails have to have a typed out URL which looks tacky or use a different email product to send them out.
And I ran into this again in Commerce. When the payment is successful I want to send the user to a URL on our application to create a new free trial of our video learning platform uQualio.
Easy-peasy if I could write this in the redirect link:
