Allow Customization of Preview Panel and Record Right Sidebar
I am implementing HubSpot Sales and CRM company-wide. We are starting with the most important features and rolling out 'nice-to-haves' as adoption increases. We are not using Tickets, Workflows, Memberships, or Playbooks at this time. Those features (and others_ automatically show in the preview and right sidebar (in a record). Seeing these features confuses our new users and makes the system seem overly complex and thus overwhelming. I would like the ability to limit content on preview and right sidebar panes similar to the ability already available in the left sidebar on records. This will greatly increase the usability of the system for new users. It is also a standard feature of several competitor systems. Thank you for considering my idea.

@GEiselt We're now in public beta, so anyone is welcome to sign up via their account manager. The functionality is supported on custom objects, although I am not sure what you mean by OOTB?

@LRosenbloom, is there an update on if/when it will be possible to edit the Preview right sidebar that appears when you click on the white space of a card in deal board view? It is so much easier to edit this during sales meetings instead of clicking into each one but right now there's load of information not relevant for how we are using Hubspot and other properties that I can't get to appear.
I really like that we can customize all the objects and their sidebars and all. Even better to adapt what people see whether they are in one team or the other.
But what would make it useful is to be able to customize preview panels which are the one we use the most to work quickly. Say I'm working on a contact, I almost systematically need to check info or change properties on its company and its deal. It's always vital to work as quick and as easy as possible.
The preview panel customization is really not a small or random nice to have feature. You guys should really prioritize this following the larger customization sidebar update. Maybe dissociate those upvotes from the sidebar post and keep us posted. Thanks !

@LRosenbloom Do you have an ETA for when this would be available? I find it odd that some custom objects appear and not others. Line items are buried, etc. Not having customization options here really hinders our ability to find anything quickly.
@LRosenbloom Customisation of the preview panel would be great! Similar functionality to record customisation for the left sidebar, choosing specific properties and order cards. Our use case is to preview different information for Deals based on which Pipeline the Deal is in.
Having the ability to customize the preview panel would be ideal. It would be beneficial for my team to be able to see contacts at the top of the pane vs. below the seam.
+1 for needing to customise the Preview panel. New things have been added recently and it's made viewing the important information more complicated for all users.
@LRosenbloom Is there a separate Idea for the Preview Tab? We definitely need the customization of previews as well, this one is marked as delivered, but only half of the idea is...
I have a similar request when looking at a deal in HubSpot, within the right-side panel viewer where contacts, accounts, etc. are displayed.
In the contact section, where it shows the name, title, email, etc., I would like to have the ability to customize it and include one additional field.
Please make it so there is a way to customize the record previews that appear when you click "Preview" on a record. It would be great if we could customize what appears when we preview a record so that the most important information is shown first. And I'm not just referring to the Properties displayed in each section (ex. the first name of a contact is shown in the "About this contact" section), I'm also talking about the order of the sections. For example, it would be great if we could move the "Contacts" section under the "About this contact" section so that we could easily see and click on associated contacts.

Another +1 for preview panel customization. In particular, in the "Recent Activities" list, we want to see notes included as well -- as a lot of important info can end up in "notes" but it is totally missed if you have to manually change the filter each time to turn on "notes". We've noticed this same "Recent Activities" list appears in other places within hubspot -- maybe it could be a global improvement to allow for configuration of what is shown there by default -- for example, we would want to always include "notes".

+1 for the preview panel customisation. The ability to add/remove sections & fields within this (exactly as you can do for the LEFT sidebar) Would be AWESOME.
Similar to Right sidebar wouldn't be as flexible but would be a starting point if nothing else............
