Allow Company Lists to be created/accessed via the API

As there is now functionality to create Company-based lists in HubSpot (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/create-active-or-static-lists) it would be great to be able to create and read these lists in the API.

Treating Company Lists similarly to Contact Lists on the API would open up new use-cases to integrators and HubSpot account owners that are currently unavailable to them.

It looks like the current Contact List API is being deprecated and being included in a later release (https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/deprecated-apis: “This functionality or its equivalent will be included in a future release”), so maybe the replacement could support both list types?

Very much support this idea. We could really use it in some integrations for ourself and our customers. Since a great API 🙂 already exists for contact lists, why not company lists?

I think it would be something very useful but it seems that it never got reviewed.

I was just really disappointed when I was trying to setup this API that it did not exist like it does for contacts.

This is basic functionally, which should already be there.

We also need the ability to have the company lists being available without any contacts associated with them via the API.

Nearing on the 2.5 years mark on this request. Crazy wait time for such an important feature!

All B2B HubSpot customers will benefit from this feature. We are using different integrations that use our Companies object, and we need to be able to generate lists back into HubSpot based on the results of the integrations.

Very much needed! The same as many other Contacts centered features which get released without support for Companies / Deals.
