Adjust Meeting Owner

Super helpful that superadmin can control meetings, but there is still no way to change an owner. This is a big need, especially since you have the undocumented functionality that blasts the user's name and email on the link if there are no available times.

For personal links, it isn't as dire, but you have such robust functionality with team meetings via round-robin, this should be standard. What would you do if the User leaves the company? You wouldn't want to have to update the team links, etc. These are just a few instances where changing the owner is valuable.

I reconnected with the product team regarding this request, and we are moving this back to Idea Submitted, because this request is more specifically asking for the ability to change the owner of a booked meeting as opposed to changing the owner of a meeting link. Changing the owner of a meeting is not currently possible, but please continue to leave your feedback here - if anything changes and this is put into production, we'll update you here right away. 

In the meantime, you can transfer ownership of a meeting link, as noted in this feature request. Apologies for the miscommunication earlier regarding this post, but this should be accurately updated now. Thanks for your understanding! 🙂

Hi everyone! The product team confirmed that this has been "Delivered" with the ability to transfer ownership of a meeting link. This gives super admins the ability to transfer a meeting to another user (with the exception of a user's default meeting link), so the new user will show as the owner moving forward!

With that said, if there are other asks around this request that this feature doesn't address, please conitnue to let us know here in the comments. Otherwise, I hope this feature helps. 🙂

+1 to being able to change the owner of a booked meeting.

As a heads up as well, if you are using a round-robin meeting scheduler link, the meeting can be booked by someone who is not the current "owner" of the company if the email entered is new to your Hubspot database.

we want to remove calendly so would be great to have this feature! plus make it easier to change links also

This was submitted in 2020 and is still not a feature - unbelievable, this is a must-have. Sales teams must have the option to reassign the meeting to a different host (even Zoom allows this to be easily done, Google calendar as well...) without creating a mess with the prospect/client and needing to send a new invite and similar. What if an AE is sick? What if they leave the company?

+1 - We need to be able to reattribute a meeting specifically when using a round robin meeting scheduler.

I wanted to chime in on this discussion as we are running into a similar scenario. We are a small company. When a team member is out, we need the ability to reassign the call to the individual that did it. I have a couple of instances where employee A does employee's B calls and vice versa. Our activity is getting skewed.

hi @hhiggins , transferring meeting scheduling links does not resolve the issue of transferring the actual meeting, so the issue is still unresolved

@hhiggins Real world scenario: 

We have customers use a meeting link to schedule a time with our insurance claims pros to meet with the customer's insurance agent on location. 

we recently had one of these claims pros get deployed to another state. His meetings needed to be transferred. His only recourse was to assign other reps as guests to the meeting. He then deleted the meetings off of his calendar. Thus removing them from Hubspot and Google calendar all together. 7 of these incredibly important meetings were missed. And we had little to no trace of how it happened. Thankfully, Google has an Investigate feature that allowed us to trace the actions. We could barely tell a meeting had ever existed in Hubspot. 

We are now shopping calendar link alternatives.
