Adding OAuth for "Other email provider" option (for IMAP)
Since Microsoft cut the support for basic IMAP authentication, we are unable to connect to Exchange IMAP and at the same time connect to a different service for SMTP. This is valid for SMTP/IMAP option under "Other email provider" section.
We need the OAuth option for "Other email provider" in order to connect to Exchange via IMAP.
Hi @jamiecim! Have you tried connecting with our O365 integration? Our understanding from Microsoft was that all customers with OAuth are on a web version of Exchange behind the scenes, and thus should be able to use the O365 connector. If not, would you mind sharing some more about your use case and why you need to "connect to Exchange IMAP and at the same time connect to a different service for SMTP"?

Hi @hroberts, the reason why I need to connect to another SMTP service and not Exchange's SMTP is in order to use higher reputation sender IPs and not use the shared IPs of Exchange where most of them are blocklisted and are having deliverability issues.
The reason why we are using a 3rd party SMTP is to increase our deliverability.
That's why we need to be able to connect to Exchange IMAP and at the same time be able to use our 3rd party SMTP.
I hope it makes sense for you.
