Add view by folder to select email templates in Email Box

When sending an email to a contact from inside the contact record, the email box offers options to select Templates, Sequences, Documents, Meetings, and Quotes. However, after selecting Templates, the user has to scroll thru many pages if there are several templates even though they may be organized in folders.

This is extremely cumbersome and time-consuming. Instead, the user should see only the root folder contents. This means, if there are no folders, the user can select the template, or choose the folder that contains the template if they are organized in folders.

The current view basically mixes up all the templates and if there are duplicated names, it becomes very difficult to pick the right one.

Was told to create a request on here.  See this one is already created.  HubSpot team - Ricky Mejia on ticket #8333999 helped document this was an issue for our company as well.

Yes I agree the way you are able to create folders on the website should be the same on the emails. It mixes them up and its very messy.

I want to agree. I went through the trouble of organizing the email template folders to make them logically grouped and easier to find. However, when I actually am in a contact, select Create Email and click on the Template option, all my emails are displayed in a very disorganized way without folders. I need to scroll through multiple pages to find the one I want. Also, as mentioned above, if I have similar email names, but saved in different folders, it is very difficult to figure out which email I am trying to find. The view from a contact when selecting an email template should be the same view as in the template view when managing emails and folders.

BTW, if you do have a few common emails you use often, there is a little hack that makes accessing them a little easier. You can prepend the email name with an underscore. That will always display those emails first in the list of emails, when trying to select from the Contact view. This is not a fix, but does make finding a few often used emails a little more efficient.

I also agree with this. We just started using HS for all our email communication and have a bunch of different templates for different departments. We need the ability to see the folders when replying to an email using these templates otherwise there are pages and pages to have to go through. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this in the near future? Without this, we may have to revert back to doing our emails in another program as this is time consuming.

So strange we can create them clearly in folders in the template settings, but don't see the folders when creating an email.. Takes so long to find the right email through the different pages.
