Add user signature to emails sent from Conversations
Hey hey,
we would appreciate the feature, that email signatures will automatically be added when a team member replies to an email within the Conversations / Team inbox. Currently we are using snippets as a workaround, but that should not be the long team solution. Otherswise it doesnt make sense to add a team inbox to hubspot nor does it make sense for our customers to not be able who they are in contact with. Since we are customer centric, thats not what we want
We have several individuals on our team from different areas of the company (Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Developer) who all respond to tickets. It would be great to have a generic signature just for tickets. That way our responses don't seem weird coming from a Marketing Manager or a CTO, etc... instead they would all show one signature "Customer Success."
We are just now implementing and I see the value in having the ability to have these functions added to conversations. I agree with @LUP, @raylawrence and @brkn.
@granthbrown@brkn@Rhollifield@NickS Don't you guys also need the bcc and cc function in the inbox? Right now you CAN'T see if a person is cc in an incoming e-mail...
And also, where is the "reply to all" or "forward" function?
The workaround that was suggested to us has been working well enough:
Search contacts for the customer's email address.
Send an email via the customer profile (not through Conversations Inbox)
Go back to Conversations Inbox and mark the message Closed
The message will come from the individual user's email address and their signature will be added.
Depending on how the message was received, it's likely you'll find the original message there and will be able to hit Reply so that the original text is included in the response. Watch that the correct sending email address is used because the default will be the shared email. But there is a simple drop-down to change that each time a message is sent.
