I just noticed that there is, except e. g. with AVIFs, no way to prevent Hubspot autocompressing images to webp. Even IF they are already webp.
Of course that's helpful if uploading too large pictures or jpegs, pngs, so on. Even if it's not working consistently (or our editors are "hacky" enough to keep uploading jpegs, pngs, so on, Hubspot cannot convert.)
That leads to worsening the quality of already optimized pictures. To a degree that's not acceptible.
So I'd really like a feature in the upload area where you can enable if the image should be "optimized" (keep it non-tech friendly) or not.
Yes, this. I'm tired of taking the time to get the images just right in Sqoosh only to have HubSpot recompress it and ruin it. This absolutely should be a setting.
This, a thousand times this. This is insane that we can't control this. As above, you take the time to get them just right in Sqoosh only to be ruined by HubSpot's overly aggressive compression 😞
