Add "Show country code dropdown menu" option to meeting bookings
In all other forms when adding a phone number, there is a toggle to allow 'Show country code dropdown menu'
This is super useful as it allows our sales team to know the full dialling number of who they need to get in touch with.
However, when configuring meetings, this is not an option - meaning our team need to do additional checks/research to confirm the country dialling code.
It would be great if this could be added as it'd be a huge timesaver for us.
Thanks @DCepik. That would work for sure, I suppose the only reason I won't be doing that is because it's an extra barrier (two forms rather than one) in our lead generation. It also poses issues for our website interface. What would be ideal is if you could pass this up the line to get fixed. It seems like a simple one.
It's really sad to see this has been an idea for 3 years and still hasn't had a fix.
The consequence of not having the country code on the meeting link is that you need to reformat it for each call to ensure the call is then logged correctly to the system when you use third-party tools such as Zoom phone.
The fact this is already available on a "form" just makes it feel like Hubspot doesn't care about the time we have to spend correcting these things.
Adding to this that it would be ideal to have this. We're looking at manually creating a field for this but that's not a great fix. We could really use this feature!
Yes. I have people complete a form before a meeting link is provided. They complete the country code on the form, but when they schedule with the meeting link, their contact card doesn't save the country code formatting.
Absolutely completely necessary! I've been working for weeks on a Sakari integration that is only firing about half the time, tried the Integration Fox thing and it did not work (no service at all, no data, didn't do what it promised)... Operations Hub workflows aren't working, super frustrating!
This is something that would be extremely helpful to our team. Currently the only option is reaching out to the client to ask for their country code or adding a custom question to the scheduling link and many clients don't understand what "country code" means. A drop down would make this much simpler and would be a huge time saver.
Yes we need this too. We have to use a phone call integration because HS calling doesn't support one of our countries. We just had a contact who filled in a contact form (with country code for number), then booked a meeting (phone number overide and reformated the number to not have country code). Then they've called and left a message which has now come through as a new Aircall contact because that call had the number with the country code at the front. If the person hasn't booked a meeting then the Aircall phone field would've matched the number that was entered in the contact form so it would've resulted in just the 1 contact record, but instead it's created 2 separate records which is not helpful for our sales team.
This is a much needed feature so we can have a way to standardize the data. Especially important for us to be able to provide the phone number as E.164 format for enabling enhanced conversions with Google ads.
We really really need this feature, it shouldnt take long for the developers to add it, I assume!
Not having this feature makes it much harder for us in our day-to-day tasks and a lot of confusion from our customers arises from it. Please add it ASAP!
