Add possibility to report on meeting attendees

Currently we cannot select or reference meeting attendees in reporting. This would be a very important feature for reporting on sales activities.

As several salespeople can attend the same meeting, we're currently unable to accurately report on their customer interactions.

+1, we really need this. Our activity reports are very inaccurate without it.

Helpful to have accurate activity for my team. The only fix is to duplicate the meeting and that is overstating the number of meetings.

We need this ASAP. Cannot believe that after 2 years something as basic and crucial for sales teams hasn't been implemented yet.

This is needed asap

Please add this. We need to track the activities of experts that are supporting the sales team, but not actively create a meeting or being assigned to it. To the system they are just attending. But we desperately need to report on this...

Hi everyone! I'm an Associate Program Manager on the CXM team here at HubSpot. I'm happy to share that reporting on meeting attendees in HubSpot is now available within the Custom Report Builder! A recent product update released the ability to create custom reports on the meetings object, which includes a filter for meeting attendees. If you have any feedback around how this feature works, please continue to leave notes here for our product team. Thank you!

hi, this would be a great feature to have.

this is a very important feature for us. We are normally attending the meeting with sales person and techical responsible, so the meeting must count for the two of them. we have created special reporting, wjhich makes much more complex the count of meetings completed.

@hhiggins Thanks for this update - this is a great improvement.  It would also be really helpful to see the full list of attendees including external contacts so we see who has attended on the customer side.   Is that coming?

Hello @hhiggins, that's great news! Unfortunately it seems like the meeting attendee reporting does currently NOT work for meetings that are manually logged in the CRM. Is there any plan to add this in the nearer future?

As quite many clients log their meetings manually, this unfortunately still makes it impossible for us to report on meeting attendees properly.

Hi @CAdams21 & @HelenPantel! At this time, seeing a full list of attendees (including external contacts) isn't on the roadmap, nor is more functionality around logged meetings. The product team is aware of this feedback, and I've shared it internally. If anything goes into development regarding either aspect, we'll be sure to update this post. 🙂

In the meantime, a possible alternative would be to schedule the meetings instead of logging them, but I understand if that may not always be the ideal option. I just wanted to mention it in case it helps, as the product team highlighted scheduled meeting attendees can be reported on currently.

The biggest issue with scheduling meetings rather than logging them is that it sends out a confirmation email to every attendee which includes the email address of every other attendee, which, if you are using this for something like event attendance, can be a huge confidentiality issue. There is currently no way to BCC this or prevent the email. We learned this the hard way.

@sarahw If I understnad you correctly, I believe you can suppress the meeting reminders in Settings per below, although it will apply to all meetings.

Thanks @hhiggins.  Most of our meetings are scheduled and i can now track the internal attendees using the HubSpot Attendees property.

@CAdams21 You are correct, however that is only for extra reminders, they still get the initial notification (with the emails of all other attendees) and there is no way to turn those off.

This one is really important! We track how many meetings our sales reps have, and right now they all have to log their own meetings manually. This causes the company’s data to be inaccurate, since we also look at metrics like how many meetings we’ve had with Company X this year, for example.

We need to be able to build a report and see the count of meetings either created or attended, and also have the option to add users when logging a meeting.
