Add option to exclude sending RSS monthly blog email on weekends

Let's say I have a monthly blog RSS email set to send on the 1st of each month. Problem is when that 1st day of the month is a weekend. I'd like to be able to exclude weekends when the 1st (or whichever day I choose) is on a weekend, so the email sends on Monday following that 1st weekend day instead.

 

Might look like this:
