Add note actions for workflow enrollment and re-enrollment triggers

It would be a great addition to workflows if there were a feature for an enrollment trigger for when notes are added to contact, company, deal, or ticket records. Currently, there are activity triggers for "call notes" and "task notes" being added/updated, but these don't allow for automatic re-enrollment. Additionally, these triggers don't include a standard note being added to a record. If there were a trigger for that, and it allowed for automatic re-enrollment, it would be a great addition to the workflow tool.

Indeed, this would be a nice addition - we were used to send a meeting report to slack in pipedrive via notes - allowing a local sales team to be updated on everything.

Use case: customer win/stories.

 

When a customer win is added to a company's notes, you can trigger workflows such as a company-wide Slack message.

Use Case: Our Developers have built a custom portal for patients to submit paperwork. When paperwork is submitted a note is created on a deal record with title, "Form Submitted to [...] Portal". When this event happens we would like to enroll the deal in a workflow and create a task for a specific team. If it was a one time event the current version of workflows would work well. However, there are multiple forms that can be submitted, some even more than once. We are not allowed to renroll Deals in a workflow based on a note activity due to HubSpot lack of development in the area of automation. Workflow triggers can't track multiple occurrences of the same event type unless it’s tied to object creation or property updates.

This limitation is holding us back and one of the reasons we are considering moving all Sales, Service, and Operations to an ERP with a custom connector created by our Devs. That a loss for HubSpot of $24,900 in just Sales and Service seats, not to mention moving our Sales and Service Hubs to Pro from Enterprise. This idea/suggestion has existed for 6 years. Having to create a unique property and set it each time an activity is create for reenrollment in a workflow should be unnecessary.
