We use lists a lot to segment contacts and companies. Currently I'm segmenting by whether a contact/company was sales vs. marketing-sourced.
This has been difficult in Hubspot as the "original source" field can have multiple sources if the contact is ever merged, which happens frequently, so we are going one-by-one manually through the details of each contact's original source and drill down properties to determine whether they are marketing or sales-sourced.
Lists are actually amazing for automating some of this process, as I can use the logic for "has ever been" and then choose "has never been any of" for original source to exclude any results that have multiple "original source" results. It's a great workaround, but it would be even better if there was a logical option for "has only ever been" that would exclude any results that were ever != original source = paid social. Hopefully this makes sense, but it would be extremely helpful for our team. Thank you!
+1, this would be very helpful for nearly all of our reports since tickets go through different pipelines and I need to easily filter the ones that never left the original pipeline
