The absence of dependent fields in HubSpot 'create' forms forces those of us who need them to completely rely on using a custom created marketing form to create tickets, deals, etc.
Ultimately this means that the create ticket or create deal buttons in service or sales hubs become useless.
The primary reason for this (certainly in my scenario) is that dependent field properties are commonly used as workflow triggers and without those properties being set, workflows will not trigger until required dependent fields are manually added to a ticket or deal record. For time sensitive tickets or deals, this can be an obvious problem when an SLA is in place.
Being forced to make the ticket or deal creation process 2 steps instead of 1 is inconvenient and time consuming, not to mention frustrating for time-poor users. Hence - we have no option but to rely on a custom created marketing form to create 'complete' records.
