Add CC and BCC capabilities to emails from HubSpot

We have a need for the option to add CC and BCC to emails that are sent from HubSpot. We have two important use cases for this.

Use case 1:
We have a registration form set up on our website. When someone registers, they receive an automated email from us through HubSpot saying "Thank you for registering!". Since we have a lot of different people signing up, it's very important for us to follow up on that email.

If we could add CC to me on the email that is sent out, I could pick up the conversation with the person registering very quickly. I could simply press "Reply" on the email and continue the conversation with the lead.

If I want to do this now with today's HubSpot solution, I'd have to copy/paste the lead's email address from the internal registration confirmation email, write a subject line that wouldn't confuse the lead, and then write the message to the lead. This delays the response time dramatically, and takes up substantially more resources.

Use case 2:
If we could add BCC to emails as well, it would give people two great advantages;
(1) HubSpot emails could easily be integrated with almost ANY CRM (ex. Email to CRM option), and
(2) it would add the contents of the email to the CRM (more than just "Sent Subject Line").

If anything is unclear, I would loooove to explain in more detail.

Everyone, I recently got an answer while discussing this with my direct rep from Hubspot. The bottom line is no, this will not be impelemented. Its not about the ability to do so, but the legality and compliance aspect for mass mailing in the united states.

 

That said, an optional solution was presented. When doing the marketing email, set it up with a workflow. In that work flow to send the email out would also send a second email to the contact owner, rep or person you want to have copies of using a property function. That second email could then be used to flag follow ups, advise a rep or group of the individual the email was sent to, etc. While not as convenient, this did give me the ability to let my outside rep groups know who was getting marketing emails in their territory as they are not part of my inside sales force and thus not connected with our Hubspot system. 

 

Hope that may help at least a few of you out there!

Desde a contratação do HubSpot, tenho a necessidade de enviar campanhas de e-mail marketing por meio de e-mail em massa copiando time de vendas ou outros destinatários, principalmente em e-mails personalizados com informações de clientes, e fui surpreendido com a impossibilidade de definir CC ou CCO nas estratégias de e-mail. 

Encontrei algumas ideias levantadas a partir de 2017 na comunidade, mas os retornos dados pela Equipe de Produto da HubSpot (em 2017 e 2020) não foram satisfatórios para os usuários. Alguma atualização prevista para 2025?

Hello. I would like to request this function (CC), as when our automated emails are sent out as part of workflows we need the client to reply to multiple people, e.g. our team's inbox plus a specific staff member.

Would be idea to cc the Account Owner dynamically, in some scenarios..

Love for this feature to be live soon... We're sending marketing emails a lot and would like to keep the deal owner and content team looped in for easy checking.

Upvoting on behalf of my customer in HID: 22467258

As a possible workaround, users can clone the "Send marketing email" action currently in your workflow, and in the cloned action, select the option to send to the associated contact. You'd simply need to make sure that 1) the contacts to be CC'd are marketing contacts and 2) are associated with the contacts originally enrolled in the workflow.

Please note that the will be two separate emails:
