Ability to use association labels as filters (is none of)
Posting on behalf of a customer who is looking for the ability to filter lists using association labels.
Currently, when filtering a list and selecting the associated object, you can then select ANY associated record, primary record or a specific label, but it is not possible to use a filter like "is none of".
Use case:
We wanted to run a Marketing campaign by sending emails to all the Operations Representatives of a list of companies, and I found that the executives did not set labels on all the associated contacts. There were companies with contacts but without labels and at the time of asking them to add labels, we found it very difficult to identify which contacts needed a label.
The current workaround would be to create a list for all the labels and then a separate list using the 'is not a member of X list' filter.
We have a use case where this would be handy. Multiple contacts can be associated with a ticket. We have a label "requester" for the contact who requested the work. Then other contacts where there are other labels or no label at all (which is related to another issue because you can't assign labels in certain workflows).
We'd like to enroll all contacts that are not the requester in a workflow when the status of the ticket is closed. At present, there's no way to do this.
To add more color, these tickets are for setting up user IDs. There's a contact who requests the ID (or IDs). And then those who get the new IDs. Among other things, we'd like to send these new users (those contacts that are not labeled "requester") a welcome email with training materials when the ticket is closed.
There are many other ways this would be useful.
