Ability to turn off automatic association of Outlook emails to objects associated with the contact
We strongly require the ability to turn off the automatic association of Outlook emails to objects associated with the contact in HubSpot.
Ideally, we want to be able to log emails form Outlook to the contact record only, then we manually associate the email correspondence to objects that are applicable to the email thread.
Currently, when emails are getting into HubSpot via "Reply All" from Outlook (utilizing the HubSpot BCC), the email doesn't just get associated with the contact records, but also many other objects (services tickets, deals) that the contacts are associated with.
We are seeing A LOT of emails getting put on service tickets that they have nothing to do with, crowding up the ticket timline. Even more problematic is unrelated email correspondences are opening tickets that have been previously closed. But an unrelated email correspondence is being logged to the ticket, reopening it. This is causing our support ticket pipeline to be littered with previously closed tickets that should not have been reopened.
