Ability to submit or edit a forecast for previous months or quarters

Customer would like the ability to submit or edit a forecast for previous months or quarters.

• The current columns and what they are calculating in the forecast tool dashboard is not able to provide them with the Actual + Forecasted amount calculation they require which is:
  • What has been CLOSED WON in the past quarters
  • What has been FORECASTED in this and the future quarters (CLOSED WON plus estimation of what will be CLOSED WON)
• The ability to submit/edit forecast for previous forecast period would be a workaround to get the Forecast Submission column to display what they're looking for

Thinking from a customer's perspective, it also seems like a bit of an oversight not being able to manually add in past quarter/months of forecasting in the event a user starts using the tool mid-year. This would result in customers being unable to accurately gauge how accurate their forecasts are for the year and/or have to wait for a new year to be able to use the tool.
