Ability to hide themes when creating landing or website page

I'd like the ability to hide themes from showing up on the Choose a Theme page when I create a website or landing page.

YES! This makes so much sense. Even if it is a line in theme.json

Have also had requests for this feature.

As a company that's been churning out themes for the asset marketplace our portal template picker is getting clogged up with themes we only use once to build demo sites. An option set in themes.json wouldn't be plausbile here because we'd need the theme to be available in the picker for user's downloading the theme. Instead it'd be great to have a Hide button like they have in the email tempalte picker.

Yeah you can do that in the theme.json file by adding this line:

"is_available_for_new_content":false
