Ability to hide teams/team members in the Forecast table
It would be very useful if in the Forecast feature we would be able to "hide" some of the teams or team members.
E.g. we have the whole markeitng team under Forecast even though at the moment this overview is not needed - so it just makes it messy and adds unnecessary clicks for the Sales Manager, who jsut wants to see how his team is performing.
Very odd to have to show teams and users that have nothing to do with sales and forecasting. Add this under Team or User management, opt in to Forecast perhaps.
This has been an issue since on or before Dec 1, 2021. I waited on adopting forecast because I figured it was half baked, but for it to be still less than half baked over a year into existence with known issues is frustrating. I'm commenting in this forum to try and make a change, but it seems fruitless.
There is very little usable info on the forecast card, and over 2/3 of it is totally unusable and pointless if we can't filter out non-revenue teams.
The data is accurate for the team goal, closed won, GAP, coverage ratio, etc. It should only show sales, but there seems to be no way to omit the teams Customer, Marketing, Progineering, Rev Ops, and Super Admin from our forecast. Even though those teams have 0 goals, 0 forecasted, and 0 deals owned they still show up here. Which makes everything in my screenshot pointless and pulls away from what actually matters here.
Totally agree, not sure why Hubspot can't allow us to hide these users. Sometimes they may require to access features under Sales Enterprise but not necessarily doing deals.
Dear team, The expected exit amount should also be added to the Forecast tool. The total Expected Exit number should include Won+Forecast (Contract Sent+Commit deals). There should be 2 achievement numbers
I have a very large "solutions" team covering various aspects of the business.
This requires those users to have property level accesses on objects, that other users should not.
It's odd that you can set accesses to objects by permission set, but you can only use Teams or individual user to assign property level permissions.
Currently, by Solutions team do not require an Enterprise seat so creating a "Team" for those users should not effect or display on the Forecasting tool, but there are other large groups of users who will also require special property access, that do have an Enterprise seat but have absolutely no reason to be visible on the Forecast tool. (legal, pro services, etc).
It would be really great if we had the choice on whether or not a Team should be displayed on the Forecast tool.
It is also quite frustrating that the instructions "to have team members show up in the forecast tool" include "forecast permissions are set" when this is actually impossible to do if the user already has a paid seat (setting permissions as None does not hide them from the forecast tool). It would suffice to say "has a paid sales seat" if that determines the forecast permissions automatically.
It just seems daft that the only way to switch on/off forecasting for someone is to assign/unassign them a professions/enterprise licence. Even more so that giving service hub enterprise access gives forecasting permissions to our users. We only have two out of ten users with those licences that have any quota/forecast, yet they all have to show in the forecast report?
What's most annoying is the fact that there's a switch there to turn it off in settings, but it's greyed out!
Incidentally, I found a workaround for some users (where we don't rely heavily on team structure for ownership, etc – ie marketing/rev ops team members who have super admin access and sales pro seats) is to just not give them a team, that keeps them out of the forecast table. Not useful in all scenarios, but possibly helpful?
I hope there is a solve for this soon. Less than 50 of our enterprise users should be visible on the forecast and though most of the others will never have a deal created, our solutions testers, integration testers, and sales operations users have test deals that show up in the forecast.
This results in RevOps/FP&A users exporting data from HubSpot to another software application for cleaning up the data and presenting to leadership.
We use TEAMS for more than forecasting. Having the ability to set property level permissions to a TEAM is far more effecient than trying to do it user by user, so we now have many users on TEAMS and half are on a seat that could present them on the forecast.
+1 as an Admin having all the extra teams in there causes confusion for all involved. In my instance the forecasts that matter are not even at the top of the page they are hidden with no ability to reorganize which teams show up first.
I don't understand the logic of keeping all these teams on the Forecast screen, there is no need for many of the teams in HubSpot to be included on the Forecast screen. Seems it would be a simple field to add on the team to include them on the Forecast or not. This needs to be corrected as it is seen by all the executives at our company when we review the forecast and there are comments every time about why these other teams are showing, it does not show well for HubSpot and I hate having to make excuses for HubSpot. It is time to get this fixed.
