Ability to filter automatic emails from others

I'm working on a workflow to move lead status automatically from New -> Contacting -> Engaging -> Qualified/Unqualified. To move the status from Contacting to Engaging, I need to know if the contact has responded to any emails sent from our company. I don't want to move contacts to Engaging if we received an automatic reply.

There is a property called 'Email Subject' which I tried filtering on in the workflow to detect automatic replies but this does not work. I used the keyword "automatic reply" which is what the Email Subject starts with on automatic response but it doesn't work in the filter. Support encouraged me to create an idea here. Please consider this. If Hubspot is able to identify automatic replies already, it should be possible to include it within the Email Subject too.
