Document relationships between Companies and Contacts

 

Value

Ability to report on relationships between Companies as well as Contacts. Better identify opportunities for prospecting and/or value add to Companies/Contacts.

 

Examples

Currently there is only a way to relate companies as Parent or Child, this is insufficient when looking to capture additional context to a relationship in a structured manner. 

 

Would like to have the ability to relate Company A with Company B while giving context to the relationship. Then the ability to report on these relationships, i.e. who are all of the Suppliers to a Company, who are all the Competitors to a Company, who is receiving Services from a Company, etc. 

 

Examples: 

  • Company A is a Supplier of ABC to Company B
  • Company A is a Competitor to Company B
  • Company A is Currently Receiving ABC Services from Company B 

Ideally this relationships will be listed in a pod within each Company and we'd have the ability to create types of relationships, i.e. Supplier, Competitor, Servicing, so that there is structure, and then the ability to provide additional notes about this relationship.
